Well today is the big day that we've been counting down to since... well Nov 2004 for some of us.

Hyde Park is going to be buzzing and be sure to keep an eye out for Mr. O himself who is rumored to make an appearance, although you'll have better luck seeing him at Grant Park tonight I'm sure. If you were lucky enough to snag a ticket.

Democracy is in the air and it's actually hard to avoid. The C-SPAN bus grace campus yesterday parked behind Reynold's club, interviewing the UofC community. Today Obama paraphernalia (and a few Palin buttons) cover bodies and bags, facebook statuses are rallying for the cause and excited discussion fills hallways and the quad.

I wouldn't recommend venturing out too far or too late in Hyde Park if Obama doesn't pull it out but as Obama is currently leading I don't think you have to change your travel plans just yet. But I wouldn't be too hasty and I wouldn't take anything for granted. So whether you're watching the election in Reynold's, alone in your room, taking shots every time Obama or McCain (or both) win a state or even if you refuse to watch it at all it doesn't matter:
