Last night a man was arrested for his involvement in a car crash which killed an eighteen-year-old Arizona State University student, Nora Risha. Risha’s car was hit by another car which had run a red light, and two other teenagers were gravely injured.
A man has been arrested in connection with a four-vehicle accident that killed an Arizona State University student.
Nora Risha, 18, was ejected from the vehicle she was traveling in Wednesday night after it was struck by a car that ran a red light, police said.
Armando Garcia Jacobo Jr., 43, was released from a hospital Thursday and booked into jail on one count of second-degree murder and seven counts of aggravated assault, police said.
Two other people - ages 16 and 14 - also suffered serious injuries in the collision but were expected to survive, according to authorities.
You might think that running a stop light is no big thing, a minor infraction, but this story shows how dangerous it can be. Our condolences to the Risha family.
