Anyone smell a repeat from last year?
After being shut out in the first half, the Gators came back in the second looking hopeful. Auburn was only up by 2 touchdowns , and we still had two quarters to play.
So what the hell happened?
Our defense has been shaky this season, and Tebow's passes couldn't hit Harvin's hands, no matter how much praying he and every other Gator in the Swamp did.
One of the worst parts was the ending kick. After the goal was made, refs argued with Urban that a timeout was called before the play. Alas! We had a second chance! Gators' hearts lit up and hope gleamed in every intoxicated eye in the stadium. But only to be crushed yet again.
If only we had Jarvis Moss back to block that final field goal.
Grown men were crying in their seats, and an overwhelming silence stretched across the stadium.
All we can hope for is a continuation of last year's pattern. One loss to Auburn followed by a season of straight up ass whoopin'.
Go Gators!
