Celebrities Unite for Barack, You Can Too

MySpace Celebrity and Katalyst present The Presidential Pledge

The inauguration is only a day away and all eyes are on DC- where the party is at. Celebrities from all over have swarmed to show their support and witness history. Meanwhile, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were rounding up their pals for a video clip to be presented to our new President.

The video features over 50 celebs, from Aaron Eckhart to Cameron Diaz talking about how they plan to help bring about the change everyone keeps talking about.

Kutcher told Reuters:

“There’s an assumption that this one man is going to take on his new job full-time and somehow wave a magic wand of change, and I don’t believe that to be true. I think that we have to be the leaders, and that’s not celebrities--I think that we as citizens have to be leaders of the movement that we want to create.”

Who would have thought the Punk'd guy would still be relevant all these years later? We don't know if these celebrities will keep their pledges or if change is really on the horizon. But we do know one thing, attending the presidential inauguration is the number one reason to miss class this week.
