It's that dreaded time of year again.. Registration.
There's nothing more irritating than waiting for you registration period to open only to find that the class you need to fulfill requirements for is full. Sometimes the problem is just that you want to put off graduating and enjoy the college life as long as possible. Often it's just that you can't find any interesting classes to take.
If the latter is the case then you're in luck. FSU offers a ton of liberal studies classes that will spice up any boring schedule or at least offer a unique course:
PEL/PEM classes: (look up in course search) 1 credit classes ranging from aerobic dance to tennis to bowling to self-defense. These are great for someone who needs an excuse to get themselves exercising since you're being graded on it.
Psychology of Women (SOP3742): This is the perfect class for the guy who just doesn't understand girls. What better way to figure them out than take a class about getting inside their head. No promises though..
The Slavic Vampire (SLL3510x): If you're a fan of the Twilight books, maybe you'll enjoy this class dedicated to the Edward Cullen's of the literary world.
History of the Seminoles and Southeastern Tribes (AMH2583y): I can almost guarantee that this course is only offered at Florida State!
Literature and Sexuality (FOW3240yW): I'm going to guess that this course probably consists of harder reading material than Danielle Steele novels.
Modern Popular Music (MUH 2019y): A must for any music lover. Listen to music clips in class, a project where you create your own playlist, and a good music history lesson.
Planets, Stars, and Galaxies (AST1002): This class actually meets at night outside to look at and identify stars; a good class for those people who never made it so Space Camp as a kid.
