Machen Pissed, Will Take Immediate Action

Don't piss off the president.

President Bernie Machen was said to have been 'screaming' when he heard how UPD reacted at the Kerry speech, and announced he will immediately respond to the incident with the following steps:

UF will ask the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to investigate if taser use was appropriate.

Officers Eddie King and Nicole Mallo will be placed on paid leave.

UF will create a panel of faculty and students to review campus safety protocols.

UF administrators and UPD officers will conduct an internal investigation of the police department.

And finally, the State Attorney’s Office will decide if they will continue to press charges or not.

Students, be prepared for new, uptight regulations and super-bitter UPD officers.
