Stephen Colbert has identified the Movies That Are Destroying America this holiday season. There’s that movie Yes Men movie, which seems a lot like all those other Jim Carey movies where he gets some sort of weird tick or forced behavior (Bruce Almighty, anyone?) which drives him to an epiphany which helps him make right with his love life. Then there’s Revolutionary Road, a.k.a Kate and Leo Volume II. And last but not least? Miracle on 34th Street, the holiday classic in which Santa Claus is a socialist, according to Colbert.
