They've finally gone and done it; it took them long enough. The new covered bridge on the east side of Whitman has one stone inexplicably carved with the word "yes!" in big friendly capitals. It's sort of like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy telling you not to panic. A big friendly affirmation, however, is ripe for abuse.

Someone has written in chalk, "Do white girls put out?" above the yes. Clever! Today, the Daily Prince has a rather huffy article about the sexist and racist implications of this graffiti. Yes, yes, of course; until someone erases it, though, most people can probably get a good chuckle out of it.
