In following with the theme of the season premier of one of America’s most popular television shows, Gossip Girl – the one and only guide into the propitious lives of Harvard undergraduates - takes a moment to report on the week before frosh commences…

Women’s Leadership Conference (WLC) women spotted stepping out of the prestigious Faculty Club after listening to the Pulitzer Prize- winning author and Mr. Obama’s key foreign policy aide, Samantha Power. For the week, WLC’s have been sitting in on different panels and participating in workshops to continue to develop their leadership skills.

Gossip Girl reports that new fresh faces are plentiful around the yard. The freshmen flow in as early orientation activities begin. For some that means facing all the elements of the greater outdoors, being ever so careful to look composed while hiking difficult terrain. And for others it means, meeting the cutest international prospects, honing artistic skills, helping the community, or subjecting oneself to hours of cleaning toilets, floors, and walls in preparation for the upperclassmen. Naïve freshmen…

Various sports teams also flood the campus as they gear up for practice twice a day. Soccer teams are off to California and North Carolina, and it’s rumored a squash party is set take place a certain someone’s house on the outskirts of Massachusetts.
