UF to Waste 9 Mil on Boring Fungus

UF to Waste 9 Mil on Boring Fungus
With $9 million worth of mushrooms, Gainesville could get a whole lot more interesting

The National Institutes of Health has awarded the University of Florida $9 million to research Aspergillus, a fungus that poses a major health threat to cancer patients and transplant recipients.

I don’t know about you, but I think there are much better fungi to spend $9 million on. With that much money we could contaminate the water supply at UF with magic mushrooms and have the world’s largest trip. Imagine all 50,000 students running around campus tripping out of their minds; The possibilities are endless.

Did you know that magic mushrooms grow on shit? But don't let that stop you. And plus, who lets there weed sit around that long that is starts growing stuff on it? Unless you have a pound of it laying in your dark, dank basement. Posted 07/31/2007 4:32 PMReply
