Anyone who’s been job hunting and looked in the Targum classifieds has probably noticed this ad for a “bartending.”

$300/day potential? No experience necessary?  Training provided? Gee whiz, that sounds swell! Even a third of that is more money than you’ll make at 90% of jobs in the New Brunswick area. And who wouldn’t want to be a bartender?

Well, before you get all riled up, there’s something you should know. A quick internet search of the phone number listed directs you to a page for The United Bartenders Institute, an internet bartending school. Not only is this not a job, but it’s an $80 course! It boggles the mind to think that these asshats can get away with this shit.
