We Read the Newsletter So You Don’t Have To
You used to read, you know, newsletters and books and stuff. But now you just read OTR! Riiiiiight?

Here at OTR, making life easier (and better) for the UCSD student body is high on the priority list. Without further ado, a sparknoted version of the Fall Quarter news:
  • Finally some respect is shown to the high population of late night UCSD stoners. Subway and Espresso Roma now open 'til 2 AM Sun-Thurs. Don’t go to Roma though, their coffee is blechy. Hopefully Perks (new Price Center coffee shop) will be better. Side note: Foodworx and El Mercado now open ‘til 11 PM.
  • Tuition got raised this year so grad students could live on campus (seriously, is that necessary? Who wants to see their TA's dorm party?) in the new $78 million housing project.
  • Tenaya Hall in Muir got remodeled, while Sixth and Revelle (who are the ones that really need it) remain as they are: ancient and shitty.
  • Work will start on the new ERC North Campus Housing in October – poor ERC kids. Nothing like waking up with a splitting hangover and the sound of bulldozers.
  • Bless the Sun God for the 1,406 more parking spaces at the Hopkins Parking Structure.
