What You Resort To When You Have No Athletic Talent

There's a little athleticism in turning your wrist, right?

Hundreds of Jews seeking their way to some sort of fame other than the Nobel Prize attempted to set a Guinness world record for the most dreidels spun at one time. How Hillel, who organized the event, managed to get that many Jews to stand out in the cold for an extended period of time I’ll never know. Maryland had set the record the previous night with 602 spinning dreidels. But with the call of free donuts--free being the key word--and the number of Jews here at Michigan, odds are Michigan is the new record holder.

UPDATE: The results are in. Sadly, Michigan managed only 490 spinners. Standing outside waiting 45 minutes in 20 degree weather for a 30 second period may have been the plan's downfall. They should have offered bagels instead...
