Go To UGA-BAMA Game Without Breaking The Bank

As expected, tickets for the UGA-Bama game are being sold for hundreds of dollars online. With ESPN's Gameday coming and the blackout hype, it's not that surprising. The shocking thing is that students are actually paying it. But it's REALLY easy to get into the game without spending a ton of money on a ticket. In fact, it's easier than you'd think.

The easiest way is to buy a ticket to another future game is to use a ticket you have for a game you can't go to. Take that to the gate and simply walk in. As long as it's a ticket for this season, it will scan, and that's all the people at the gate check for. They don't take the time to really look at the tickets. If it scans, you waltz in. Plus, it's going to be really crowded and really dark (night game) and those people at the gate don't care anyways. They want to scan your ticket and get your drunk ass out of their way.

It seems too easy to be true, but trust me, I've done it for at least one game every year. Either I didn't get a ticket or had someone visiting, so I would buy a cheap ticket (ie GA Tech or Vandy) for like 20 bucks and take it with me. I got into the LSU game my freshman year with a GA Tech ticket. It ended up being the most fun game of my college career. And if for some reason you get caught (which hasn't ever happened to me), say you grabbed the wrong ticket and head downtown to keep drinking. But seriously, it's almost guaranteed, and you can spend the money you saved later while out celebrating.
