This Week in College Football

And now, your weekly college football report, courtesy of Bleacher Report.

- The SEC battle between #3 Georgia and #8 Alabama is definitely one to watch this weekend, and we’ve got five reasons that the Bulldogs are going to crush the Crimson Tide. Reason number one? Georgia will win in the first quarter. And as for the others…

- In other Georgia news, legendary commentator Larry Munson is retiring after an incredible 42 years of calling Bulldog football. One fan writes about how Munson affected his love of the game growing up.

- Vanderbilt is in the top 25 for the first time in more than twenty years, and that has fans buzzing. They’ve got a brutal schedule ahead, and everyone’s wondering if they could actually rise to the occasion this year after decades of disaster.

- Florida’s iron grip has them clinging to an impressive stat: no turnovers yet for the season, and their the only team to make that claim. In terms of actually scoring, they’re still struggling, but hey, at least they’re holding onto it when they’ve got it.

- One fan gets philosophical about why we like sports. He discovered enlightenment by driving slow on the freeway. Yes, really.
