Anti-Greek sentiment may be smoldering on the University of Georgia campus.
Literally smoldering.
A fire at the Chi Phi fraternity house this weekend may not have been an accident. The Red & Black, the school’s newspaper, reports:
Officials are unsure what caused the fire. The report was filed as an arson and stated the cause appeared to be the result of someone lighting the hay next to the building on fire.
The burning haystack caused damage to an awning, charred the emergency exit door and caused heavy smoke on the second floor.
Fortunately no one was injured.
But, more importantly, why did the Chi Phi’s have a haystack outside their house???
I know it’s Georgia, but c’mon!
