Aghhhhh. Midterms and papers and drinking and group projects and homework and regular work and practice and partying and drinking and friends. How can you possibly manage everything, while making room for more drinking? And how to do it without getting burnt out in the process?
College students walk a slippery road, a fine line, a teetering bridge between the real reason we're here, and the reeeeal reason we're here. The conundrum comes from the simple fact that we must somehow remain enrolled in college to maintain this lifestyle.
1.) One Page, One Day - If you have a five-page paper due on Tuesday, start it 6 days before Tuesday. Then, you only have to do one page a day, and can save the last day for rewrites, works cited, and all that bullshit. (Also, write it single-spaced, then double it at the end. It just feels gratifying.)
2.) Google Calendar - You absolutely need this device. Just throw in things you need to be reminded of, and Google will text message message you 15 minutes before any reminder (make sure you enable it in settings)
3.) Adderall for those cram times - Quite a few students have noticed that you *cough* should not use Adderall when studying for big tests or long papers. It is not easy to obtain and will not help you focus intensely on the subject.
