Search Engines To Display Your Facebook Profile

Search Engines To Display Your Facebook Profile
This may come as an unwanted shock, unless you prefer stalkers finding your name, profile pic and contact information through sites like Google, which is what's in store for the 6th most visited site in the US.

Facebook originated as a place for college kids to network; to hold on to old friends, and to make new ones. It started out fairly exclusive, then opened up to the masses, as did the floodgates for the oft-lame " Facebook Apps"  and the ill-received "NewsFeed." Now, Facebook is looking to attract more people with this search engine feature.

Sites that sacrifice exclusivity for ad revenue begin to lose their cool. While MySpace is still uber-popular everywhere (with preteens), it has lost some of its heart. It's now just a place for annoying pages, porn profiles, spam messages from bands, and an internet haven for pedophiles. Facebook is inches away from a similar fate.

Do your part. Keep your Facebook profile page clean, and go easy on the annoying apps. If you're worried about Yahoo pulling up your name, face, and contact info, adjust the privacy settings.
