The UNC women's soccer team is headed to the semi-finals of the NCAA tournament.

This afternoon they defeated Texas A&M 2-1 in overtime with a goal from sophomore Ali Hawkins. This is the 24th time in 27 years that the Heels are going to the semi-finals (wow).

The Tar Heels will play the winner of the UCLA-Duke game which will take place Saturday at 10 p.m. EST. The semi-final game will be played Friday at either 4:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. at Wake-Med Soccer Park in Cary.
