Apparently there was a mini-uproar over UW head coach Bielema’s decision to have the players wear all red for their home opener. Former Badger coach Barry Alvarez was reportedly among the opposition. 

Bielema admitted to agonizing over the decision for the weeks leading up to the game after a couple players suggested the wardrobe switch. Ah, decisions, decisions. "For like three weeks, that was like my last thought, every night. I'd kind of go back and forth with it, " said Bielema, who also described being in “turmoil” over the decision. His million dollar paycheck undoubtedly eased some of his strife. 

The players reportedly weren’t seeing red over the, uh, red. Bielema said the players loved the uniforms. And since the Badgers crushed the Cougars, of course, fans may be seeing red in the future.
