I've never really been a big Family Guy fan, mainly because I find each episode to be a series of disjointed jokes that have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Each joke is pretty funny by itself, but when he mashes them all together with Peter's flashback's with "Remember the time when..." and "You think thats bad..." to lead us into jokes about Gary Coleman, Voltron, and the Kool-Aid Man, it just feels slapped together and lazy.
So now that Seth McFarlane has been hired to do a series of comedic shorts sponsored by Burger King, it makes his jokes work better since they all stand alone as their own separate two minute YouTube videos. If they showed these on TV instead of Burger King ads, you can bet I'd start increasing my Whopper intake. But they're too racy for TV, so you'll only find them on the web at SethComedy.com. He only has two up so far, but they both make for a pretty damn good start.
