Hurricane Ike Prompts Mandatory Texas Evacuation

Hurricane Ike Prompts Mandatory Texas Evacuation

New Orleans finally has a breather from being pelted by hurricanes, as now it's Texas's turn to step up to the plate. With the looming threat of Ike fast approaching, authorities are now ordering citizens out of the following zip codes: 77058, 77059, 77062, 77520, 77546, 77571, 77586, and 77598. All public schools are closing on Friday so everyone can better prepare for the storm, which should arrive late that night or very early on Saturday.

And what we all want to know, where was it decided the LSU-North Texas game would be played on Saturday? Well turns out it doesn't even have to move, as Ike is being nice enough to bypass Louisianna for Texas instead. How considerate.
