How the hell is Michigan "not even that good"? That makes no sense since Michigan hasn't had a losing season since like 1967. It's the program with the most wins overall. It is part of the greatest rivalry in sports history and has come out on top more then Ohio State. So before you start making dumb posts about Michigan, back up your facts. That being said, if you would care to explain what makes an obnoxious fan base (which my post probably is helping Michigan's case) that would turn this post into something that I might possibly be able to stomach.

Haha, Rutgers football fans are definitely obnoxious as hell. It's one thing to love your team, but quite another if you have to be rude to visitors at the same time. Serves them right for losing to Louisville last year

I'm pretty sure the Bucks have every right to be as obnoxious and excited as football as they are. National Champions in 2002, and 2 straight years in the BCS bowl since then.


And looking at the list, it seems a majority of those teams are all pretty great at football, and sports in general. Maybe somebody is just a little jealous or bitter. If you consider the fact that we cheer when we beat your asses, then yes, "obnoxious". Hmm.

i hate the above posters that defend a school on the list. it's a joke, it's subjective, it's not only just a sport, it's a college sport. you go to a school and support the school's sports teams. if you went to a different school, you would root for them. stop arguing you're making our generation look dumber than a classroom of kids at an alabama public school.

This is no reflection on The Vest, a generally classy guy (in public, at least) who has eliminated most of the dirty play that characterized Ohio State during the Cooper era. Both Tressel and Kirk Herbstreit have publicly chastised the OSU fans over their behavior.

A video like this couldn't be made in Ann Arbor. If anything, fans there are criticized for their lack of passion and coolly intellectual, wine-and-cheese approach to the game. It's a valid complaint. It's who they are, and why they are often mistakenly viewed as "arrogant". It's not that they think they're superior. It's that dimwits just don't get 'em.

The week leading up to the Michigan game, newscasters in Columbus--a substantial city with professional sports teams--dress in school colors. The day Bo Schembechler died, the Dead Schembechlers were scheduled to play at the annual Hate Michigan rally at OSU.

Michigan fans don't lose perspective to nearly that degree. During the last Michigan-OSU contest in Ann Arbor there were students on campus who were oblivious to the game. There probably wasn't a person in the whole city of Columbus who wasn't keyed up about it.

to be honest..........yes.......though i don't really like to admit it.......i'm not the only one of a huge legion of buckeyes to tell you that we buckeyes feel very insecure and inferior to you guys up in michigan. we just don't like to admit it to you guys that's all.

hey, i see Hawaii made it. sad to say, we have lost some of the class i remember when i was in attendance too many years ago. re: michigan, weʻve had some good games, and i can say that theyʻve been tough competitors, but fans always acted with class in our house.

Any list of obnoxious fans that doesn't have FLORIDA at the top is written by someone that just hasn't been to Florida Field. They are in a class (low) by themselves.

And Michigan isn't that good. They win in the Big Ten because they get special treatment from the officials. Want proof? Look at their record when they don't have Big Ten refs. They have a losing record in bowl games.
