Felt sick and had to take the day off. Yep, only 12 days of class and I still couldn’t manage to be there for all of them. Missed a quiz and a paper too. Nothing an e-mail to Mrs. Ms. Smith won’t fix.

Fortunately, my new social circle filled me up on everything hilarious that I missed:

• There was another group exercise and each group worked on interview techniques. Supposedly, Mrs. Ms. Smith chewed me out for not being there, but my new friends apparently stuck up for me. Way to be guys, way to be.
• Apparently, Mrs. Ms. Smith heavily criticized one of the guys in another group and he responded by giving her the finger behind her back. What he didn’t count on was her noticing it in the reflection of a t.v. screen. Yikes. Talk about bad luck.
