Because The Top Six Is Kinda Lame
In hopes of making the Diamondback a little spicier, the editors have decided to add a "Life in College Park" feature. This new item aims to provide Diamondback readers with random-yet-loveable tidbits about CP in hopes of enhancing their Diamondback-reading experience.

This addition is probably a response to the overwhelming belief that the Diamondback has slacked off over the years. Yes, our beloved newspaper is ranked number six in the nation, but its reporting seems to have become so hard-hitting that it's missing the concerns of its readers.

Human interest pieces and event coverage has been replaced with regents updates and universal hate for housing. While these issues are important, they've become so consuming that the writers are forgetting to highlight the quirky details of campus.

A suggestions for the Diamondback: don't just stop at reader-friendly features. Why not cover more reader-friendly issues? It's that simple. You've got a small army of staff writers, so now it's all about the top five, baby.
