Crime "Reported Too Late" To Be Texted

As I’ve mentioned before, it seems that every time I want to write a blog post, something involving crime happens at Maryland.

This time, it’s not the crime itself making the news, but the lack of communication regarding it. According to the Diamondback, an attempted kidnapping on August 13th was not texted to students because it wasn’t reported for 14 hours.

What? Are you kidding me? An attempted kidnapping is kind of a big deal. How could we not be told about this?
