Arlington, Texas hardly screams Hollywood, but lately this town has been rolling out the red carpet.
Just last year, Fox’s Prison Break featured Arlington in a few episodes.
Now, an independent film company is heading to UT-Arlington for a movie shoot. The former home to Delta Upsilon will be turned into the scene of a crime or maybe more. (Cue the creepy music.)
The Star-Telegram reports:
The century-old house, which has been vacant since being sold in 2006, will be featured in the upcoming film Roslyn, a short thriller about a frat prank that goes wrong, according to a crew member...
The house, at 719 W. Abram St., has now been decorated with Christmas lights and has been renamed "Sigma Zeta Chi."
With a cast of nobodies and a plot that centers on fraternity life but isn’t Animal house, I somehow don’t see this movie going far.
But at least the production will put Arlington on the entertainment industry’s radar. Thank god, now the no-talent bimbos and excessive DUIs can come rolling in.
