Freshmen Tip #1-Skip The First Day

Freshmen Tip #1-Skip The First Day

With school right around the corner, I figured now would be a good time to impart some of my wisdom on the new freshies who have invaded campus.

Up first is the easiest piece of advice of all. Whether you partied hard in high school or were a nerd, you still most likely think it’s a pretty good idea to go to class on the first day. I mean, if you ditch the first day, how’s the rest of the year going to look?

You’ve got it all wrong. The first day is the most essential day to skip. For one, the night before you should be getting wasted. I mean, come on, welcome to college! But if that still hasn’t convinced you, consider this: One thing happens on the first day-the teacher will hand out the syllabus and then go on to read it out loud, just in case you forgot how to read.

And guess what? That same syllabus will be available for the next two weeks in the front of the classroom. So this Monday night, party hard and then sleep in on Tuesday. After all, you deserve it.
