We all want to feel like we’re big and strong and can take of ourselves. So, what’s the big deal if we’re walking home alone late at night. I can take care of myself!

Wrong. In case you hadn’t heard, College Park is dangerous. Really dangerous. As in, “no big deal to be assaulted/mugged/have a flip flop stolen” kind of dangerous. It’s not considered “unmanly” to walk in groups. Just make sure if you’re out late to have a friend walking with you. It’s easy and smart.

And if you do have to walk alone? Run. I’m not kidding.
