Maryland is, and always will be, known as a basketball school. Our basketball team, over the years, has done so much more than our football team, although both suck nowadays.

Despite all of that, you still need to go to the football games. All of them. And tailgate too.

The environment at a football game is second to none. Everybody going nuts, all for the same cause. You can’t help but have fun there. And there’s always the possibility of storming the field, a rite of passage for every college student.

Besides, where else can you find a legitimate excuse to be drunk at noon?
