A recent article in the Examiner recently debated which university was better to attend: Maryland or Indiana. Of course, we all know the answer is pretty obvious (rhymes with Garyland) but the article made some compelling points.

According to the article, more and more parents are urging their kids to attend schools like Indiana because they're considered more safer than the "urban" campus of Maryland.

Is that really what's on the mind of college students, though?

Of course it is. Safety was a huge priority for me when I chose a college.

Totally overblown. Crime can happen anywhere. I didn't choose a college based on how safe I thought the campus would be.
