Most of us grow up wanting to be astronauts, firefighters or baseball players. Avinash Varna wants to do something similar: Teach the world Sanskrit.

Varna, a graduate student at Maryland, has the great ambition of spreading Sanskrit, the ancient Indian language, all across the world. He personally is involved in getting the Washington D.C. area Sanskritized and helped launch the site SpeakSanskrit.org.

While I would never doubt the popularity of Sanskrit, Avinash might want to look for a backup job. You know, just in case.
