Moving back to JMU has lost some of its fun as students have been hit with the shocking news that Liberty gas station on Port Republic has been closed. Liberty was known for its easy access to beer, chill employees, and a Blimpie that provided great hangover relief. 

Although the campus will all move on and recover from this loss, Liberty will forever hold a special place in the collective James Madison heart. A statement from JMU officials was not available at press time.

Heres to you, Liberty.
