Maryland football is awful. Maryland basketball isn't much better and Maryland baseball, well, sucks too. With most of their sports teams floundering, Maryland was host to a huge footbag tournament.
According to the Diamondback, a footbag, also known as hackeysack, tournament was hosted by Alpha Phi Omega at the Armory to benefit a victim of biliary atresia.
Competitors came from all over to participate in all kinds of different footbag events.
I knew there was a reason I always liked Alpha Phi Omega.
