You’re sitting in a Chinese restaurant, and two armed men burst through the door demanding money from the clerk. What do you do?

Run? Cry? Hide? Put your jujitsu lessons to good use?

All of these are acceptable answers; laughing, however, is not.

On August 6th, two 17-year-olds entered the Chinese Cuisine carryout in Northeast Baltimore and held the establishment up at gunpoint. The robbery ended with a man being shot in the leg while two young girls giggled in the background.

No one helped the injured man to his feet; in fact, shop owners went back to serving food to hungry, soulless onlookers.
