One of the most awkward encounters in life is getting a haircut done from someone new. So many social issues are at play. Should I talk or just remain silent? What do I even talk about? Is it rude to if I don’t talk?
Unfortunately, my hair stylist was out sick this week and I was forced to get it cut by someone new. I let her take the lead, and she started talking to me about school. Once I told her about how big the Maryland campus is, she suggested the school rent out Segways for everybody to get around.
I told her the idea would never fly, but she was pretty persistent. So, what do you think?
