Terrapin Tuesday Theme Day: Week Four

Terrapin Tuesday Theme Day: Week Four

“Heaven, Hell & Samuel L.”
An angel on one shoulder, the devil on the other, and the most bad-ass Mother Shut-Yo-Mouth on the planet beating them both into submission.

Description: This idea comes from a spinoff of the classic “Heaven & Hell Party” where, usually a house, is themed by floor – the upper floor being Heaven and the basement being hell. Now throw Sam Jackson into the mix on the ground floor and damn, that is one tasty party!

Heaven:
Dress Code – All white clothing, maybe shades of blue. Include angel wings, halos, and glitter (in moderation!).
Bonus Points – Wearing a white Terrapin sports uni or bringing a harp.

Hell:
Dress Code - All red and black. Horns, pointy tail, fangs, gelled up hair.
Bonus Points – Wearing any Duke apparel.

Samuel L.:
Dress Code – Pick your poison. Samuel L. Jackson’s resume includes a slew of eccentric characters available for your enjoyment: Jules from Pulp Fiction, Ray from Jurassic Park, that guy from Deep Blue Sea, Shaft, Mr. Glass, that crazy guy from Black Snake Moan… the list goes on. Get some rubber snakes and pretend you’re on a plane. Invite your douche bag neighbors and pretend you live on Lakeview Terrace. Hell, even if you’re a geek you can go as a Jedi!
Bonus Points – Afro wig, a “Bad Mother F*cker” wallet, or a penchant for swearing.

Drinks: Wine Coolers, Liquid Angel Dust, Jagermeister, Black Devil Shooter, Samuel Adams Jackson, Pulp Fiction.

Music:

Heaven – harp music, something atmospheric

Hell – various forms of metal

Samuel L.: something Shaft would listen too.

Location: Preferably a house with three floors, or three apartments stacked ontop of one another.
