Besides keeping tabs on UMD for OTR, I'm also the Editor of the Maryland Music Business Society's music blog - Terrapin Sound. This past Saturday, November 22, was the 40th Anniversary of The Beatles self-titled album, more commonly referred to as The White Album. To try and pay tribute to such a great album, I reached out to College Park's finest student bands to contribute their cover songs from the album.

The submissions have been rolling in and are getting posted as they are received. We've got a couple interesting ones that range from folksy to heavy metal. Check out the album available for free download over at Terrapin Sound Presents...
