Beer Pong: Every college student’s favorite game. It combines all the thrill of competition with the love of binge drinking.
 

And now, in an age where all interactions happen online, students can play beer pong from the comfort of their couch. Wii introduced Beer Pong to capitalize on the popularity of the real life game. My only concern is that, without the actual beer, doesn’t the game lose some of the appeal?
 

Apparently, other people had a lot more concerns. For one thing, the game was given a T rating, meaning it’s appropriate for ages 13 and up. Angry parents, and even the Connecticut attorney general, complained to Nintendo about the game encouraging both underage and excessive drinking. As a result, Beer Pong was out and Pong Toss was in, this time with cups of water instead of beer. But now I’m really confused about the appeal of the game.
 

Pong Toss is just the first game in what its creators, JV Games, intend to be a Frat Party Games series. Hmm, with this new videogame line, who needs to rush at all? The truly lazy, or socially inept, can skip over all the hassles of pledging, brotherhood, bonding and whatnot, and go straight to the games.
