Fifty New Friends. Will That Be Cash or Charge?

Fifty New Friends. Will That Be Cash or Charge?
First day of classes and the sororities are already on the prowl for potential new members. In fact, you can barely cross the mall without spotting at least ten sisters proudly wearing their Greek letters. The idea is to give freshmen an idea of what kind of girl belongs to each house, and hey, whaddayaknow, it's Rush Week!

You can't really blame the Houses' blatant recruitment efforts: rent isn't cheap and Fall Rush gives sisters an easy way to fill empty beds. And for the freshmen, between the grand houses and yummy meals, the Greek deal sorta sells itself. Who could say no to an immediate social circle, Ken doll included?

However, the act of pouncing on unsuspecting freshies with bright smiles and lopsided ponytails does seem a little wrong. Does it have to be the first week? Can't the ladies find their own way to the bars? Joining the sisterhood can be an amazing experience, but relax. Give the girls at least a week before you make them sell their soul.
