A man was wounded at the Studio 4 night club at 2 A.M Sunday morning in a melee that involved over 200 people. He went into the crowd as a peacemaker trying to find his friends and get them out, but received a stab in the back, literally. He was taken to St Joseph Mercy Hospital to be treated for the knifing.

This has out-of-state (newly arrived) freshman looking at maps to re-examine how close Ann Arbor is to Detroit. With brawls like this breaking out, University of Michigan doesn’t sound like the nice, quiet, college town that the tour guides described during orientation and campus day.
