I've always wondered how some of the people that attend this school actually got in. This question came up again while I was at the bar last night. A group of people were talking politics when one of the girls asked, "Hey I forgot, when does England have their presidential elections?"
I was praying this individual was visiting from Michigan State, but I highly doubt that's the case. The point is that individuals lacking in what most consider basic knowledge are growing in number. According to an article in The Chronicle of Higher Education, the majority of students in any given classroom couldn't name the Secretary of Defense, any of the countries that border Israel, or even what decade the Civil War was in.
So to the guy who asked me the other day whether this year's Olympics were in the summer or winter...it's ok...you're obviously not alone.

Plus amaized misused "there" for "their" several times in another article, so yes, there is need for some education in writing.

Funny. I can see the IP addresses too, but I know enough not to assume when they match up because often times people post from public computer (like I am right now). So the fact that all my co-workers have access to the computer, and most read and respond to the blog shouldn't be blamed on me.

Honestly, it seems highly unlikely that this aMAIZEd guy is really posting from a public computer or whatever he's saying. If he really is trying to fuel controversy on his own posts, then he clearly has no concern for the actual site - he merely wants attention, and unfortunately, he's getting it.
