For any girl who always wanted some artsy guy to approach her and whisper “I have to draw you” (or photograph, in this case), your opportunity may be approaching. The University of Michigan student-produced magazine, SHEI, is hosting a party at the WORK gallery on State Street this Thursday from 7-10pm. From what I hear, the process is pretty simple: show up, have a picture taken and if they like what they see, you get a job as a runway model in the January Allure fashion show and the annual SHEIFest Fashion show in March. I’ve been informed that they are only looking for female models (sorority membership is a plus), so the guys from Pike, the Phi Psis from the Ctools picture and Fels (you know who you are) are gonna have to sit this one out.

Update: I rescind the earlier comments about males. SHEI is in fact also open to male models at the event, so long as they are really really ridiculously good looking. In addition to the runway, selected models will have photo shoots designated for SHEI magazine.
