Women Sue College For Admitting Men
In 2006, Randolph-Macon Woman's College changed its name to simply Randolph’s College. Why? Well, you can’t very well call yourself a woman’s college if you start allowing men to enroll, right? Right, because that would be false advertising.

For one group of women, however, the name change came too late. They had already enrolled into the college under the pretense that it would be for women only. Imagine their surprise when they learned that the college was opening its doors to men. Dirty, icky men with penises. The horror! Needless to say, they were not happy, at all.

In a claim filed with the Virginia Supreme Court, the women argue that the college broke a contractual obligation to supply them with four years at a “woman’s only institution”. The administration, of course, disagrees. They contend that descriptors such as that one found on applications are subject to change without notice and do not amount to a legally binding contract.

Are these women just hardcore feminists that hate men in the same vein as Marcy D’Arcy from “Married With Children”? Or, do they really have a valid claim? Officially, you’ll have to wait until June for an answer when a ruling is expected from the courts. Unofficially, you can rant until your face turns blue in the comment box below.
