Football's Little Brother

Football's Little Brother
A higher percentage of maize than you'd see in a maize out...

Football is king in Ann Arbor, and nobody who goes here will let you forget it. That said, football only lasts for most of first semester.  And its little brother hockey is right around the corner.

Ricky Reilly may disagree, but Michigan hockey games are an absolute blast and the atmosphere is the biggest part of that. Scandalizing non-regulars with the "see ya" chant is a gift that keeps on giving.  Like football, it helps that our team is good, but the feeling at hockey games is really much more intense than all but the most intense football games.

Now that the first flurry of home games is over we can all breathe a minute and think about the coming year. There's still a lot of football left, but just leave it in the back of your mind to get pumped for Michigan hockey. Who knows, with a new coach even the basketball might be good too.
