OK, the contest has now been underway for about twelve hours now and I'm pretty happy with the way things are going (I'd say we're beating Penn State and their beer model girls). I've posted four of nine  ten  eleven confirmed girls in the competition, and I'm waiting to hear back from, I don't know, a dozen more to accept their nomination. If you know any of these girls, encourage them to do so. The more competition the better.

A couple of things I want to address about the contest. First, I'm sitting around my computer all day deleting offensive comments which people STILL write despite my warnings. Look, obviously every girl featured isn't going to be the hottest girl of all time, but this contest is supposed to be fun and isn't going to be limited to Tri Delts and Kappas. Show respect to all contestants, and I won't feel the need to ban you from the site.

Next, people have been asking me how voting is going to work. Depending on how many more girls accept their nominations, we're going to have too many competitors to vote on all of them together. What I'm thinking I'll do is make it "American Idol" style where I'll eventually narrow it down to a top five or so myself, and then voting will be open to the public for those five next week. Voting will be anonymous and no percentages will show up. I will announce the top three after everything is tallied sometime at the end of next week.

I'll be accepting nominations through Sunday, so if you nominate your friends, tell them to respond to my message to I can feature them before then.
