Alright, so now that we have all thirty two nominees, it's time to start whittling them down to ten. I know I've been flip-flopping on how we're going to do this, but I've finally made a decision. To start, here's what we're NOT doing:

Bracket - This sounds good, in theory, but I am not going to "seed" girls, (how would you feel to be lowest seed?), nor am I going to make them go up against each other head to head like, "OK you are for sure not hotter than this girls specifically." I know CollegeHumor does it, but whatever, we're not CollegeHumor, and I don't want to single people out like that.

Public Voting...Yet - Right now public voting would be a ****show. My Gmail inbox is already straining to handle all the comments and tips, and I don't have the time to count hundreds of votes by hand. The new "poll" application on the site could work, but I'm going to wait until the top 10 to use it, because listing all 32  is a bit ridiculous.

I'm also not doing public voting because I want to make sure that this thing isn't just a popularity contest at this point. Girls will just get their entire houses to vote, and although all these girls are pretty, we won't end up with an objective list. And the GDIs would all get hardcore screwed. So this means  STOP sending me tips with your top ten lists, I'm not even reading them.

So what are we doing?

The Panel - This is the only way that seems remotely fair at this point. I'm assembling a panel of sorts and we are going to compile the top ten list objectively ourselves. We have no motivations, no biases, we're greek and non-greek, and this is the easiest, fairest way to narrow the list down. I know there will be plenty of bitching about "how could you cut this girl out?" or "how could this girl have made it?" but you all know that would have happened regardless.

My goal is to make the top ten list ready for public voting so that if any of the girls on it win, we'll all be satisfied. Readers, you'll get your turn to have your voice heard. Girls, if you don't make it, whatever, you're all ridiculously good-looking and being nominated is pretty damn good to begin with.

Sorry if you have a problem with this, but whatever, had to do it somehow. The top ten will be posted after the weekend and then public voting will commence.
