Parties at the Guggenheim Museum are hands-down some of the coolest parties in New York City. They may not be the wildest parties, the loudest parties, or the most hook-up filled parties, but infiltrating a generally quiet and sophisticated museum with drinks and djs is an experience.
Usually, crowd control at museums is pretty easy: the art hangs on the wall, and security guards yell at you if you try to touch it. However, when the "art" consists of shiny cars with flashing, color-changing neon lights and big, fluffy fake tigers that sit on the floor and most of the patrons are drunk, protecting the "art" becomes oh so difficult.
