Since I do occasionally report on things here that aren't Greek or nudity related, I'm here to inform you that Maya Angelou is coming to speak at the University. Maya Angelou, who I discovered is in fact not Rosa Parks, will be at Hill Auditorium this Friday at 1:30. The author is appearing as a feature in a Ross School of Business alumni event which is a part of the Business School's apparent ongoing quest to take over the English Department.

You have to buy tickets, but I hear she dives into the crowd after a great show, so it won't be something to miss. No word on if she'll alter the lyrics of her poems to include references to Michigan like Ludacris did a few years ago. I mean who didn't feel honored when they heard "U of M girls give me U of M ... head!"
