Not quite as good when you have an NHL career ahead of you...

To follow up on yesterday's story regarding the "body-slam" from (now suspended) running back Mike Milano, Stephen Kampfer may miss the entire hockey season with a fractured neck and skull. Hopefully he can recover from this injury and fulfill his potential as a professional hockey player in the NHL. The incident was only described as Milano and two friends engaging in a verbal altercation with Kampfer and a friend as they were walking up behind them, before Milano threw him down. Circumstances usually don't call for a casual encounter of body-slamming, though you can find just about anything on craigslist if you look hard enough.

Initial proposals were that maybe Kampfer made a quip about the  loss to Toledo, but Milano doesn't even play, it's doubtful he cares that much. A comment in the last post has insinuated that this altercation was the result of a girl. I don't have any evidence of this, but anything that can be sent through the tip line would be appreciated (no names though, sororities welcome). If this is indeed the case, I'd like to just say that I find it ridiculous that guys always get pissed at the guy that their girl cheated with, rather than the girl herself (she's the one who went out and screwed someone else). It's one thing if you have a pre-existing relationship with the guy, and I'm unaware of one existing between MIlano and Kampfer, but to get yourself suspended from the football team and in legal trouble is, well, moronic. Not to mention significantly hurting your school's most successful sports team.  Unless Kampfer sexually assaulted your girlfriend, Mike Milano, it's time to transfer.
